CFI Training

We have temporarily paused our CFI training classes. Typically, our three-week course is designed for pilots who have completed the FOI and FIA written exams and have at least 500 hours of total time. The course involves an in-person interview and screening flight for CFI applicants.

Under normal operations, week one consists of 40 hours of classroom instruction led by our experienced instructors. Week two is dedicated to up to 12 hours of flight instruction, including spin and upset recovery training in a Super Decathlon. This phase focuses on enhancing the applicant's teaching skills and ability to correct common student errors, assuming current proficiency in basic flight skills.

Checkrides are typically scheduled in the third week, alongside final preparations.

While we are not offering the CFI course at this time, we encourage interested pilots to contact us for updates and potential future class dates.
